THE QUICK ANSWER
Which racebook fits which horseplayer?
Bovada has the clearest documented fit for a $0.10 Superfecta ticket. Its help page explicitly lists that exception. BUSR merits investigation if rebates are your priority, but its marketing and detailed rebate rules disagree. BetUS is worth comparing for $0.50 exotic tickets and track-category limits, with an important ambiguity at Monmouth. These are reasons to investigate, not universal rankings. [1] [2] [3] [4]

Start with the ticket you actually want.
Choose a wager, unit stake and track. This tool separates a published minimum match from a conflict or information gap. It does not verify your location, eligibility or a live menu.

SIDE BY SIDE
BUSR vs Bovada vs BetUS: the rules that matter
“Documented” means stated in a cited public page, not demonstrated with a funded account. “Unresolved” means conflicting or insufficient information. A missing rebate figure is not proof that no promotion exists.
| Decision point | BUSR | Bovada | BetUS |
|---|---|---|---|
| Minimum unit stake | Financial FAQ says $0.10 exotics; Racing FAQ says $1 minimum. Unresolved by wager/track. [5] [6] | $1 generally; $0.10 Superfecta; $0.50 Pick 3 / Pick 4. [1] | Category A/B tables list $0.50 Exacta, Trifecta, Superfecta and Pick wagers. [4] |
| Payout limits | Capped exotic payouts; obtain the applicable track/wager cap in the logged-in interface. [5] | Full track odds subject to a per-race payout ceiling; stake limits also vary. [7] [8] | Track-category gross payout caps; fixed-odds markets have separate limits. [4] |
| Racing rebates | Detailed schedule: A 5% straight / 10% exotic; B 5% / 8%; C 5% / 5%; D/E none. Calculation basis conflicts with marketing. [2] [3] | A comparable standing horse-rebate schedule was not established in these sources. Check current offers. | A comparable standing horse-rebate schedule was not established in these sources. Check current offers. |
| Bonus comparison | Dedicated offer: 20% first-deposit bonus up to $1,000; 20x deposit plus bonus. [9] | The specific Bonus Description establishes multiplier, base, deadline and qualifying wagers. [10] | General sports rollover rules do not establish ordinary racebook contribution. Obtain specific offer terms. [11] |
| Cashier checks | Bitcoin table: $25–$5,000; timing conflicts with review wording. Card deposits cannot be paid back to the card. [5] | Bitcoin table: $75–$9,500 per request; $90,000 weekly. Account increments may differ. [12] | Payout guide: $10 general floor, method-dependent fees, 72-hour hold after card deposits. Check method-specific limits. [13] |
| Location restrictions | Restricted-country terms apply. Absence of a state list does not establish eligibility. [14] | Current help page lists excluded US jurisdictions; older PDF has a shorter list. [15] [16] | Payout guidance requires eligible age and location. This comparison does not validate either. [13] |
THE SAME PICKS. A DIFFERENT COST.
A minimum stake can matter more than a bonus headline
A five-horse Superfecta box has 5 × 4 × 3 × 2 = 120 ordered combinations. A horse can occupy each position once per combination. Ticket price equals combination count multiplied by the unit stake.
120 combinations × $0.10
120 combinations × $0.50
120 combinations × $1.00
These cover the same ordered outcomes with different winning stakes. A smaller unit reduces cost and proportional return before caps. It does not improve the selections or make a ticket profitable.
Bovada explicitly documents $0.10 Superfectas. BetUS Category A/B tables list $0.50. BUSR’s $0.10 exotic FAQ needs reconciling with its separate $1 wording before treating a $12 box as available there. [1] [4] [5] [6]
Price the ticket before visiting a cashier
Use our Horse Bet Calculator for boxes, keys, wheels and multi-race tickets. Set the budget first. If coverage exceeds it, reduce the ticket or skip the wager rather than increase the deposit to fit it.
READ THE TRACK, NOT JUST THE BRAND
A payout cap is not a withdrawal limit
A stake limit controls the accepted wager. A payout cap controls credit for a winning race or ticket. A withdrawal limit controls how much eligible cash can leave through a method. These apply at different stages; one cannot substitute for another.
Gulfstream Park
Bovada Category A lists a $30,000 per-race payout maximum. BetUS Category A lists a $40,000 gross per-race cap. Those figures do not establish equal net-profit definitions or identical aggregation rules. [8] [4]
Woodbine Thoroughbred
Bovada lists Woodbine in Category D at $5,000 per race; BetUS lists it in Category B at $20,000 gross per race. Check Woodbine and Woodbine Mohawk as separate venues. [8] [4]
Source problems worth resolving: BetUS lists Monmouth in Categories A and B. Its multi-race example uses a Saratoga cap different from its Category A table. We do not assign one verified Monmouth cap or adopt that example as a current limit. Operator lists also include historical venues; a listing does not prove today’s availability. [4] [8]
For a large exotic, ask how multiple winning tickets ending in one race are aggregated, whether the cap is gross or net, and how a multi-race result is assigned. Keep the current limit with the accepted ticket. Track-odds wording does not remove a separate ceiling.
THE REBATE BASE MATTERS
Why “10% back” is not enough information
BUSR’s landing page says every horse wager earns 10%, win or lose. Its detailed page describes daily net performance within categories; its Promotions FAQ expressly refers to net losses. Even the landing page contains more selective rate wording. This is a substantive disagreement, not a rate we can safely average. [2] [3] [17]
Confirm the calculation basis
Ask BUSR: “Is my rebate based on eligible turnover or qualifying net losses? Which track category and rate apply? Which returns and promotional credits are excluded?” Keep the answer with the offer terms.
Worked example: same rate, different result
Suppose eligible bets cost $200 and total returns, including returned winning stakes, are $150. Net loss is $50. A hypothetical 10% turnover rebate would be $20; a hypothetical 10% net-loss rebate would be $5. The $15 difference comes from the base. This illustrates the conflict; it is not a promise of account credit.
For a qualifying Category A straight-wager net loss of $50, the detailed 5% rate illustrates $2.50 back. A qualifying Category A exotic net loss at 10% illustrates $5. Confirm how categories and credits are treated. The Promotions FAQ deducts promotional credits from net losses. [2] [17]
Detailed exclusions include sportsbook horse matchups, canceled bets, scratch refunds and Win/Place/Show returns of $2.20 or less per $2. The page states no rollover for rebates; that does not remove a separate welcome-bonus obligation. [2]
CASH BALANCE ≠ BONUS BALANCE
Compare the obligation before the bonus amount
BUSR’s dedicated 20% offer applies 20x to deposit plus bonus. A $100 first deposit illustrates a $20 bonus and ($100 + $20) × 20 = $2,400 qualifying turnover. Turnover is not an amount you must lose, nor proof that completing an offer fits your budget. The page says early withdrawal of the deposit voids the bonus and associated winnings. [9]
Bovada’s general terms say the specific offer defines multiplier, base and deadline. Its rollover explanation distinguishes qualifying wagering from wins/losses and uses deposit plus bonus for deposit matches. Do not infer one requirement across all promotions. [10] [18]
BetUS’s general sports rules use the lesser of risk and win amounts; free-play wagers do not count toward rollover. They do not establish ordinary racebook contribution for a specific sports offer. Sportsbook horse matchups and racebook bets need separate checks. [11]
Five questions for any offer
- Does the multiplier apply to bonus only or deposit plus bonus?
- Do my exact horse wagers count, and at what percentage?
- What are the deadline and maximum qualifying stake?
- Which funds can be withdrawn before completion?
- What happens to my cash and winnings if I decline or cancel?
Evaluate a bonus after eligibility, ticket fit and cash-out planning. If conditions are unclear, compare the account without assigning the bonus cash value.
PLAN THE WAY OUT FIRST
Deposits and withdrawals need separate checks
A deposit method does not establish a matching withdrawal method. Check the outgoing method, limits, fees, documents and timing before funding. Our deposit and withdrawal guide covers the wider comparison.
BUSR: reconcile the timeline
The Bitcoin table lists $25–$5,000, no operator fee and 12–24 hours; prose refers to 48 hours for review/authorization. That does not establish one end-to-end time. Confirm review, delivery and any network or conversion costs. [5]
Bovada: approval vs delivery
Its processing guide describes about 24 hours for crypto approval, followed by up to 24 hours for Bitcoin delivery or one hour for listed alternative coins. These are operator estimates, not measured performance. [19]
BetUS: card holds
The guide states a 72-hour hold after card deposits and minimum 1x wagering on deposited funds. A $10 general withdrawal floor does not establish every method’s minimum. Check the method-specific schedule. [13]
Bovada’s method page lists crypto and vouchers; its broader limit table also lists bank wire and MatchPay. Additional options can depend on account status. A number in that table is not proof that the method is enabled for you. [12] [20]
For crypto, match the exact asset and network to your receiving wallet. A coin logo does not establish support for every network carrying it. Include conversion costs and possible verification delays in your plan.
FROM COMPARISON TO A DECISION
Your before-deposit checklist
1. Confirm location
Check restrictions for where you live and use the account. Operator acceptance and permission under local law are separate. Bovada’s help-page list is longer than its older PDF; the five-state shorthand misses exclusions. [15] [16]
2. Check the race menu
Find your track and wager. Verify unit stake, entries, scratches and cap. A public list is a starting point; the current menu determines whether that ticket is offered.
3. Evaluate the exact bonus
Get horse-wager contribution confirmed. Save the issued terms before opting in. Do not rely on an advertising percentage.
4. Verify the cash-out path
Check limits, documents and holds. Set a budget independent of the bonus. Proceed only if eligible and the complete conditions fit your plans.

COMMON DECISION QUESTIONS
Racebook comparison FAQ
Which has a documented $0.10 Superfecta?
Bovada explicitly lists it. BUSR’s exotic FAQ needs reconciling with its general minimum; BetUS A/B tables list $0.50. Check the live track screen. [1] [4] [5] [6]
Is BUSR’s rebate 10% on every wager?
The landing page makes that claim, while detailed terms use category-dependent net results and the FAQ refers to losses. We flag the conflict rather than assert a universal basis. [2] [3] [17]
Does full track odds mean an uncapped payout?
No. Bovada’s own answer explicitly includes track-dependent payout limits. Read the cap and aggregation rules alongside the odds statement. [7]
Which pays withdrawals fastest?
These sources do not establish an independently tested speed ranking. Review, approval, delivery and network confirmation are separate stages. BUSR’s public timelines also need clarification. [5] [19]
Why might the selector find no documented match?
The chosen unit may be below a published minimum, or the necessary rule remains unresolved. That identifies a question to settle before opening or funding an account. The tool does not change minima to manufacture recommendations.
